წერა to write ► ის წერილს წერდა. He wrote a letter. ► ის ბარათს წერდა. And she wrote a card. ►

კითხვა to read ► ის ჟურნალს კითხულობდა. He read a magazine. ► და ის წიგნს კითხულობდა. And she read a book. ►

აღება to take ► მან სიგარეტი აიღო. He took a cigarette. ► მან ერთი ნაჭერი შოკოლადი აიღო. She took a piece of chocolate. ►

ის \[კაცი] არ იყო ერთგული, ის \[ქალი] კი – ერთგული იყო. He was disloyal, but she was loyal. ► ის \[კაცი] ზარმაცი იყო, ის \[ქალი] კი – ბეჯითი. He was lazy, but she was hard-working. ► ის \[კაცი] ღარიბი იყო, ის \[ქალი] კი – მდიდარი. He was poor, but she was rich. ►

მას ფული კი არ ჰქონდა, არამედ ვალები. He had no money, only debts. ► მას იღბალი არ ჰქონდა, რადგან უიღბლო იყო. He had no luck, only bad luck. ► ის წარმატებული კი არა, წარუმატებელი იყო. He had no success, only failure. ►

ის კმაყოფილი კი არა, უკმაყოფილო იყო. He was not satisfied, but dissatisfied. ► ის ბედნიერი კი არა, არამედ უბედური იყო. He was not happy, but sad. ► ის სიმპატიური კი არ იყო, არამედ უშნო იყო. He was not friendly, but unfriendly. ►
